Q: I have a lot of storage space left on my phone. Is there a conference app?
A: It's your lucky day. Our conference app, Attendify, is available for download in the Apple and Android stores now. Watch for Geo-Congress information to appear the week of February 3.

Q: My colleague has decided not to come to Minneapolis. Is there any way for that person to participate from afar?
A: They should use their imagination. If that is not enough, check out our live streaming page for information on streaming our award lectures and annual business meeting from South Dakota, South Africa, or anywhere in between.

Q: I don't know how to prepare my presentation. Help!
A: That's not a question. But you can visit our page for speakers and moderators for guidelines.

Q: For years, I have hoped for child care to be offered at Geo-Congress. Is my dream a reality in 2020?
A: Yes. Child care will be available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during conference hours. Find more information on our Hotel & Travel page.

Q: Does the Geo-Institute have social media accounts packed with side-splitting humor and loads of valuable information?
A: Oh yes. Start at geocongress.org, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click the links to join the conversation with #geocongress2020.

Q: Kind of a lot of people from my organization want to attend. Can you cut us a break?
A: Sounds like flex registration is for you - it's over 30% off full registration prices! Get started at Flex Registration page.

Q: Will it be cold in Minneapolis during the Congress?
A: That's a pretty good bet. The average high temperature that week is 33F (1C) and the average low is 17F (-8C). Check the current weather conditions in Minneapolis.

Q: That's really cold. Will it snow? Will my flight be cancelled? Will the Congress be cancelled?
A: It's probably going to snow. But everything will also probably happen as scheduled. The Minneapolis airport has only closed for 4 hours total since the current main terminal opened in 1958. The city has lots of plows, salt, and other snow removal equipment. It takes a massive storm to shut down Minneapolis.
